Accommodation

Accommodation at Kolobe consists of two camps , Homestead and BushCamp. Only one party at a time will be accommodated to ensure your privacy. Please, no pets are allowed. Homestead is in the process of being renovated but will be available shortly.

BushCamp is the more basic camp, yet is still tastefully furnished – The camp is designed around a central swimming pool and consists of 2 chalets, each with its own kitchen.

Each chalet can sleep up to six people in two bedrooms, under thatch, with bathrooms en suite ensuring privacy and comfort.

The kitchen area comes fully equipped with electrical plates and a fridge/freezer. All utensils for 12 people are supplied, from plates and mugs to braai grids and potjies. The patio is delightfully cool during the day and is supplied with chairs and tables.

Duvets, towels, cushions and other accessories are supplied so only bring your food, drinks and personal equipment – please remember a torch.

Water is fresh palatable borehole water and is warmed with electrical geysers.

Homestead is the old farmhouse and consists of three bedrooms sharing 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen has a gas stove with an icemaker and freezer/fridge. All utensils, towels,duvets and other accessories are supplied.

Relax under the large patio next to the pool and watch as the bushpigs (or Kolobe!) came out of the bush at night to feed right next to the braai!
